Mom's Night Out!
The 1st Tuesday of every month is Mom's Night out - 7:00 PM. Come meet with us for a time of encouragement, fellowship and inspiration! (No childcare, nursing babies welcome)
Kid's Presentation Day
The 2nd Tuesday of each month is Kid's Presentation Day - 2:30 PM. Children are welcome to give a 2-3 minute presentation or just come to listen and support their fellow peers!
At Presentation Day, Kids are welcome to come and give a 2-3 minute presentation (Please practice with a timer J) to practice their public speaking skills and share what they are learning in school. Some ideas for presentations are Bible memory verses, musical instruments, research projects, science experiments, book reports, etc. We do ask that the content of the presentations do not conflict in any way with a Biblical standard, and are appropriate for a young audience. If your children plan to give presentations you will need to arrive and be signed up for presenting by 2:30. Because of the logistics involved we will not be able to take late arrivals for presentations.
After Presentations we will be going to Great Plains Park for a time of fellowship. If the weather is not favorable, please bring board games to share for our fellowship time.
Important note: We are very excited about presentation day and are glad so many of you are being blessed by it! Because it is getting larger we do need to adjust a few details to keep it manageable. If your children plan to give presentations you will need to arrive and be signed up for presenting by 2:30. Because of the logistics involved we will not be able to take late arrivals for presentations. We also ask that you assist your children in keeping their presentations to 2-3 minutes, both in practice and during their presentation. This is a great opportunity to train them in keeping their audience in mind, and honoring the time of others. Thanks for your help! We are blessed by the way the children are growing in their public speaking skills, and look forward to their presentations each month!

Yes, it’s that time of year again! This is one of our favored events, and is lots of fun for the whole family so mark your calendar! For those who aren’t familiar with our Geo Fair, it is a time for our children to show some of things they've been learning about God's world. Here’s how it works:

Pick a country, state or ethnic group and research it.

Fill a project board (sold at most craft stores) with pictures of your country/state, the flag, a map, etc. You may also dress up like the people of the land, bring food or drink samples of your culture, or and/or bring games they play, to present the culture to the audience. Each child may do one project, or you may do one as a family.

Each presentation will be given up to 5 minutes to present their geography fair project to an audience. (* please note this change in rules: we have previously allowed each child up to 5 minutes. However, due to logistics, this has been changed. If siblings present together, the total time they have will be 5 minutes. Thank you for your understanding!)

Please bring a stamp and pad (or) 85 stickers (or) 85 little printed labels, representing your place of research (these will be placed in everyone’s passport as they visit your board).

After presentations are over, your children (even your young ones so they can join in the fun) will each be given a “passport” and have a chance to “travel the globe”. They can visit each board in every room and stamp their passports, or place a sticker/label in it.

Each that participates will be given a Certificate of Participation.

Cost is $3 per child who participates.
